I recently took on a retiring sniffer dog, who despite being 8 years old, very active and healthy. I contacted several of the main stream insurers, none of them seemed interested to insure an older dog.
My vets recommended Vetsure, amazingly not only do they offer lifetime policies up to a dog 10th birthday but the cost was slightly less than some of the 12-month policies I had been quoted. Because of being so impressed with the level of cover Vetsure offer, I have moved my other two rescue dogs over to Vetsure.
