I wanted pet insurance for life for my german shepherd puppy and I did a lot of research to find a company that covered my needs. Fortunately a good friend pointed me in the direction of LV and I took out their premier monthly policy, which was comparable in price to other companies but provided the extra level of cover I required. I did not think for one moment I would need to claim so early in my dog's life - but accidents do happen! My dog got knocked down and caused considerable damage to the car. All of the staff at LV were very understanding and guided me through the procedure. Without any hassle whatsoever on their part, they reimbursed me the cost of my dog, cancelled my policy immediately and covered the cost of the damage without any quibble. You need to cover all eventualities. Nothing can compensate me for the loss of my best friend - but LV took the worry out of the consequences.
