I made a small claim because of an accident on my 1 year old. at the renewal they increased the premium by 24% if I had taken out a new insurance it would have been the same price as before but any previous claims would have been discounted... This even though I was told they would never increase more than 5% even with a claim.... so don't believe what you are told.
