My 1 year old black lab has been diagnosed with end stage osteoarthritis and will probably not life many more months. This so called pet insurance asked for 10 years of clinical history, which my vet provided and they have now placed exclusions on my policy for arthritic hock, injury to the knee and uncomfortable hips. MY current claim has nothing to do with his hock or hips. My vet has now sent another letter informing them that this claim should be paid, GUESS WHAT? I now have to wait another 10 days for this to assessed for the 3rd time. If you are considering insuring your pet PLEASE look elsewhere. I will be cancelling my policy for both of my dogs.
