As many of my family and friends know I lost my best friend, Flash on the 1st of February 2017 and it broke my heart. During the emotional time of flash being in hospital I kept in contact with animal friends to ensure there would be no concerns with the cost of flash treatment and at no point was I informed I had any restrictions in regards to claiming back treatment costs. Animal friends are now saying I am not insured for the claim although I have two vets who have contacted them to challenge their decision. I put my trust into animal friends at a very vulnerable and emotional time of my life and they let me down and have left me with a debt of over £2000 that I will struggle to pay. I feel injustice has been done to myself and feel I have been failed by animal friends!
