Never ever insure your pet with e&l. Having paid £45 per month for 10 years without a claim, I made my first claim only to be told my excess was £220 and 20% of the remaining bill. To add to my misery I cannot cancel now a he will have a pre existing condition. But to take out the same cover with the same company is only £26 per month and up to 129 excess....huge difference. I am now seeking advise and will fight them all the way
