Had Tesco insurance from the time we had dog as a puppy. At age 5 he had a mast cell tumour on the top of his head which required removal - this was quite an extensive operation. About a year later he was limping and (wrongly) diagnosed with arthritis but it was only a sprain. Had no problem at all with acceptance and administration of the claims. When he became 7 the premium was doubled without explanation so cancelled it - I could understand the increase in the premium as there had been 2 significant claims and chances were the claims were going to become more frequent as the dog got older.
