Did you try the ombudsman? PP are insisting we had info at renewal about the new £750 limit (we didn't) and we are facing a bill of thousands for our Dogue de Bordeaux. We pay for their 'Extra' policy with a £6k vet fee limit and then they expect us to swallow this!?

The exact same thing happened to us and we have ended up with a £5,000 vet bill. Avoid this company at all costs.

I have also just found out that they changed the amount for cruciate on my policy which I have been paying for 6 years and typically my dog now needs a cruciate op. The £750 probably only just covers diagnosis, the operation will be approx £3000 which I don't have. I have complained but don't expect they will help me. It just feels all about saving them money rather than honouring the original policy and having compassion for animals who need the help they promised. So disappointed.
