I recently submitted a claim for veterinary fees totaling £2500 for investigations and surgery for a lump under my dog's eye, which was blocking the tear duct.
Fearing the worst, radical and novel surgery was performed by the consultant eye surgeon to remove the mass and reconstruct the tear duct. Fortunately, histopathological examination of the tissue revealed that this was the result of a grass seed and not a tumour.
I submitted my insurance claim and was very relieved to swiftly receive the full sum (minus the excess) into my bank account. There was no quibbling, just a quick and complete reimbursement.
Thank you.
