I didn't claim for 12 months when my dog hand cysts on his paws as the cost was less than the excess I would have paid. In October I took my dog to a different vet as he had a cyst that would not heal properly. But the vet found a complicated anal problem which needed treatment costing over £500. The Vet wrote to AF insisting there was no proof this related to his paws. Despite 3 letters from the Vet and me, no reply after 2.5 months. Vets hate this company because they dispute nearly every claim. Avoid like the plague!!!! Pay more for a better service elsewhere
