I have had both my dogs insured with Petplan, one from being a pup. I have had the insurance for 4 years and have just put a claim in for both dogs. Both claims have been refused, with the excuse that their illness/injury occurred before the policy started!! How am I supposed to know what my dogs are going to develop?? I am now waiting for a response to my complaint and will then refer it tp the Insurance Ombudsman.
