No Payment, No updates

I'm not sure how this company has averaged a 4.4 on their reviews! Laughable if you have actually read the reviews.
This company is so slow on paying claims, that they leave the ordinary person in financial hardship. Vets will not deal with them directly on anything payment related, which speaks volumes!
I have an ongoing claim from last year, where my dog requires regular check-ups and repeat prescriptions. Sometimes the payments are made within a day (not often) but more often than not they take weeks and weeks.
The request for his medical records from my vet appears to be an automated request as they have asked for it twice in 2 days. So for almost 5 weeks, a human claim handler has not looked at any of my 3 invoices! Over £500 paid out by me, all covered, but still waiting!

I had exactly the same with Many Pets last November. My Vets will not deal with them directly either.
I had to take out a “Loan” to get my dog sedated and a biopsy taken as my Vets wanted the money “Up Front” and I was warned that Many Pets were taking months to reimburse. In fact it took 2 months of my claim to show on my account as “Just Pending” until I complained and threatened to contact an ombudsman - then the money hit my account!! I have since changed providers.
