Took out Tesco Bank pet insurance for accident and Injury. Headline said insured up to £3,000 for both. My dog pulled up on a walk one day, limping and unable to put leg down. Didn't improve so took him to the vets. They diagnosed a torn ligament in the knee requiring surgery to fix. Rang Tesco pet to claim for this "Injury". They told me that they didn't cover torn ligaments as they are 'a genetic problem'. Well anything can be a genetic problem. ... so basically don't expect to be covered for anything.
Why are companies like this allowed to get away with lying about what they cover......Total Scam.
