My dog got put to sleep..her heart went..it was all of a sudden and just down to old age. She went in..got tests, scans etc put on oxygen then sadly kindest outcome was to put her to rest. The bill was £808. She's never been ill or had previous issues. I've never claimed prior..had the policy years. 1st week I didn't even get a ref number or ANY communication..apparently the claim got missed and "stuck on the system".
I've chased them and chased them. They hire a company to take calls so you never talk to them direct. I always get fobbed off and told the same thing. That amount is sat on my credit card and accumulating interest. They also have charged me twice as if she is still alive. It is a very black and white case. My vets given medical history and replied very promptly. Still NOTHING. Not only have I had the heart ache of losing my dog I now have financial stress due to the pure imcompatancy of this insurer. The treatment and process has been truly awful. So going by my experience please look elsewhere for cover. The whole point is piece of mind and knowing you can do the best for your pet & be covered financially. Well so far I have NOT had that by any means. I will post on every single platform and media base to share my experience.
