Argos will find a loop hole by which not to pay out. My dog had a minor report in 2021 of hopping occasionally on back RIGHT leg which turned out to be nothing and no treatment required. She now has a pulled ligament in her rear LEFT leg which required an xray, hence my claim of approx £500. The claim has been declined due to Argos claiming their POLICY is to exclude any previous existing conditions. 1. This has never been a condition previously, the only ever mention of rear leg was her other leg and did not ever need treatment and 2. Has been excluded along with her other back leg now. She has had an ear infection and a tummy upset in the past on her medical history ( she is 8yrs old) so that is understandable at her age, I am told that these are exempted on the insurance also! No point in paying (Platinum Premiums) every month as Argos will not pay for the majority of ailments as they will find a way to link them back to 'something' on the whole life medical history. Appalling company!!! Do NOT USE if you value your pets health.
