On Saturday Poppis swollen cheek burst and looked better. By late afternoon she was shivering and looking blank - not improving as I thought she would- she was going into shock. I can't thank Direct Line enough for giving me free access to Paw Squad. Poppi was booked for her cheek to be scanned on Monday but Paw squad vet advised me to take her to the emergency for antibiotic, which i did. 48 hrs was too long to leave her in that condition.
