Animal Enemies!

If you care about your pet, or your finances, avoid at all costs!!
Do not trust their customer service team to give you honest or accurate information at a time of need. I spoke to three separate agents after the death of my pet, all of which stated supporting documents wouldn't be needed. After the third conversation we destroyed any documents that weren't sentimental, only to be told I would in fact need those documents.
They avoided paying the death benefit on the grounds that they were referring to a veterinary signature and did not, specifically mention, a proof of purchase (since confirmed in another conversation in which I received a meaningless apology). In otherwords I had been incorrectly told, by three different agents (again confirmed by them) I wouldn't need to prove my pet was actually dead, only what I had paid for him, by which point it was too late for me to provide the documents needed for the claim.
They fall back on their terms and conditions small print but, at a time of stress you would expect their customer service team to help you through the process and with this company, they do not even provide you with the bare minimum accurate information.
Do yourself a favour, pay a little more for your cover and go with a company who support their customers properly.
