Declined both our claims, one star because I can't give none.

Like a lot of customers, I was fooled in to thinking this was a good deal as it was cheap and my girls were both over 10. I put in claims for both my girls and they turned them both down, one because I mentioned a condition a few years ago and the vet had written it down in her notes, like "worried about mites" sort of thing, and the other because the vet couldn't tell them exactly what she died of (apart from euthanasia)....I mentioned to the vet that they'd turned them down and she wrote a letter to them telling them that talking about a condition is not the same as having it, and the treatment provided for our older one was still provided regardless of whether she ultimately died, without an autopsy we don't know what was killing her, she was very old and had a swelling in her stomach, we had her put down before it became too much for her, but she was been being treated for it in the weeks before that - not like she was going to cost them any more, she was dead. They did pay up but immediately excluded the whole GI tract for our remaining dog since she'd had a problem with her pancreas, backdated that to apply from the previous year (for some reason), so she's no longer covered for anything she could have been treated for for a year following diagnosis with our old insurer, or anything unrelated to this that occurs in the same vicinity. We've gone to Bought By Many now with our puppy. When our oldest goes we'll never use them again.
