I with with more than pet insurance over 15 years, and never made a claim. Then when my cat reached 14 she started to have kidney problem. The claim took ages to approve and after a year I only realise that they wouldn't cover the same illness anymore. Premium started to jump 5 times more when she reached the age of 16 and didn't cover most of the usually old age illness for cats. Called the customer services and they were not helpful at all a rude if you ask me. Decided to cancel it all together. Morethan used to be very good 10 years ago, I guess it must be some new management on board now making it terrible insurance provider.
