I just received notice of a plan to raise the monthly insurance for my jack russell from £47 to £95. He is 6 years old and never had an operation. It was £30 quid 2 or 3 years ago. I called to say how unreasonable this was and was told what a loyal customer i was but nothing was reciprocated. I feel forced out of the cover as no one with any logic would accept this price jack. I feel it is a scheme to take advantage of anyone who has ever had an issue with their pet, as new conditions will not be covered by a new insurer. Really left a sour taste

New 12 month policy due to renewal
I've just received my renewal quote from Tesco pet insurance for my 2 yr old cross breed cocker spaniel
Have had No claims but the premium has gone up by £95 a year at this rate she will cost me over £650 each year to insure by the time shes 5.
Now being unemployed due to the corona virus im so annoyed.
They say as a new customer you get 20% off well i just made a new quote on line and its the same as last year so how can they increase it by £95!
20% off is only £15 on my policy ?
will getting weekly shopping at another supermarket from now on
