Just got my renewal through in the post and they have doubled the cost of my insurance for making 1 claim. The claim was a few hundred pound and was not linked to an ongoing health issue or treatment. My cat is 12 months old with no health issues or illnesses, she just swallowed a hairband accidentally. She didn't have any surgery or any treatment, just supervised overnight at the vets. She is young, healthy and also an indoor cat! I can not understand how they could double my premiums for a year old indoor healthy cat with no health issues.
