I have been with Sainsbury’s since my Labrador was a puppy. I’ve had two claims in this time, he is now 8. My policy renewal came and my premium has doubled to £143 a month so is unaffordable! I rang Sainsbury’s pet insurance and was told they don’t like insuring dogs over the age of 8! I’m absolutely disgusted by this and would say ‘ buyer beware ‘ I’ve paid in for 8 years and now my dog is not insured.
