Napo pet insurance offer lifetime cover policies that cover all new conditions, illnesses and accidents up to the amount of vet fee cover you select. You can choose up to £16,000 vet fee cover.

Their policies give you access to free pet care services to help you keep your pets healthy and happy. When you take out a policy with Napo you have access to free video calls with a UK vet or behaviourist 24/7 so there's always help at hand. They also offer a Puppy Academy with live classes from pet experts on everything from toilet training to first aid, and the ability to ask your questions and get personal advice. For older dogs there's the Dog Training Hub where you can view video lessons and take part in group Q&A sessions with an animal behaviourist.

Napo Lifetime Pet Insurance policies are one of the few policies to cover dental work needed because of accidents or illnesses and they cover tartar removal and tooth extractions. They cover complementary treatments, behavioural treatments, travel cover, cover for emergency boarding, cover if your pet passes away and cover for advertising costs and a reward if your pet is stolen or goes missing. There is also Third Party Liability cover for your dog in case your pet injures someone or damages their property and a claim is made against you. If you insure more than one pet with napo there is a 15% discount on premiums for the second pets.

Pre-existing condition are not covered.

Coverage

Choose between Lifetime Cover policies offering vet fee limits of £4,000, £8,000, £12,000 and £16,000 per year. All new illnesses and accidents are covered with each policy and for your pet's life as long as your policy is renewed with no break in cover. Diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scan, blood tests and x-rays are covered in all policies.
There are lower inner limits for dental work (£2,000 on any policy), Complementary and behavioural treatments and emergency boarding fees (limits vary between £500 and £2,000 depending on the cover limit selected), missing pet benefit (varies between £1,000 and £4,000 depending on the cover selected), cover for your pet dying (varies between £1,000 and £4,000 depending on your policy vet fee limit) and travel cover (varies between £1,000 and £2,000 depending on the policy you buy).
Third Party Liability cover for dogs is provided by each policy. Cover ranges for £1.5M to £2.5Million depending on the vet fee limit of your policy.

Excess

£99 per condition. £250 excess for Third Party Liability claims for dogs only. You will also pay an additional 20% of each claim if your pet is 9 years or over.

Age Limits

Cover provided from 4 weeks of age with an upper age limit for starting a policy of 15 years.

Waiting Period

24 hours for accidents and 10 days for all other illnesses or conditions. There is no waiting period if you are switching from another insurer with no break in cover.
