Fluffy Pet Insurance offers Lifetime Cover pet insurance policies with the ability to earn discounts on pet food, treats, toys and more by following expert advice. There are three levels of Lifetime cover policy to choose from. Their policies cover vet fees up to £10k, advertising and reward costs and compensation if your pet is stolen or strays, third-party liability, accidental damage caused by your pet to a third parties property, death from accident or illness (if your dog is under 8 and your cat is under 10), holiday cancellations and EU travel up to 30 days, boarding fees if you need to stay in hospital with different payout limits dependent on the cover you buy. There are lower limits for CT and MRI diagnostics, cruciate ligament treatment, complementary medicine or treatments and dental treatments as a result of an accident. Lifetime Insurance is the most comprehensive level of pet insurance. It will provide cover for accidents and illnesses including ongoing conditions for the duration of the pet's life as long as the policy is renewed and there is no break in cover. You can choose between three levels of vet fee cover; £5,000, £7,500 and £10,000 per year. The annual vet fee limit is refreshed when you renew the policy. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Some dog breeds are excluded as are dogs that have demonstrated aggression.
When you buy Fluffy Pet Insurance you get a free subscription to the Fluffy app which gives you access to a 24/7 vet helpline, over 100 dog training courses from world-leading experts and 24/7 access to specialist dog trainers and behaviourists. If you follow their trainers and vets advice you can earn points that give you access to special deals on pet food, treats and more, offering up to 50% off.
There is a fixed excess of £99 for every claim. There is an additional compulsory 10% of claim excess for pets who are 5 or over on the start date of the policy.
Cover available from 8 weeks of age. The upper age limits are 8 years for dogs and 10 years for cats. If you already have a policy it'll continue for as long as you renew your policy.
Claims will not be paid for 48 hours from the start date of the policy for accidents and 14 days for all other types of claim. Cruciate ligament problems that occur in the first 30 days are not covered.
Certain dog breeds are not eligible for this insurance. Please see the joinfluffy.com for details. There are inner policy limits for: complementary medicine of £750; cruciate ligament disorders of £3,000; dental treatment as a result of an accident of £750; CT and MRI scans of £1,000.
You can choose to get reimbursed for your claim directly or can ask Fluffy to pay your vet.
