I sadly lost my beautiful boy unexpectedly. I called Animal Friends to request a bereavement claims form. After it failed to arrive, I made contact a second time, this lady had no compassion at my loss and informed me they had failed to send the claims form. She said she would send a form out. No form arrived again! I made a formal complaint online. A quick response via telephone call and a promise of a form for the 3rd attempt. I was also told ‘email a copy of the claims form (when it arrives) and I will personally ensure it’s dealt with, no delay. Form finally arrives, email it through for the attention of said person. Reply received ‘email the form to claims department’. I email a rather curt response. Another email received from ‘claims department’ unable to view it please post it. This company are a complete joke and avoid. I have been paying £120 per month, my beloved Spud passed on 12th October. In the meantime they are quick to send out a renewal quote with a yearly increase of £600! It’s now 27th November and no sign of any payout.
