Don't even go there

Just as N. Graham has suggested in his post, AF have gone through my pets medical history with a fine tooth comb, after I have submitted a claim for a heart problem caused by a mass on my animals spleen (Dog needed emergency surgery to remove spleen costing over £1500). Was given the go-ahead by AF as this was an emergency and their policy wording states you need prior permission for claims exceeding £1000.

Letter received over the weekend saying something very similar to N. Grahams statement, because the animal had a 'no cause for concern' fatty lump removed in 2004 and I did not tell them (I wasn't asked and never claimed for it!) then my animal is not insured for cysts, tumors, growths! along with four other exclusions including eye's and ears (my dog had an ear infection in 2010.
