Over 50% price hike for no claims


I have just received my renewal details to discover that the premium has risen by over 50% for no reason. I have not made a claim on a 6 year old cross-bred dog. I recall having gone through all this performance last year also when, having spent half a day on the telephone, I wearily agreed continue with the policy but to lower the standard of cover, raise the excess etc. just to keep the price down. I wish I hadn't. The money could have been put into an account.
Also - why is it not possible to contact Tesco Bank Pet Insurance via email? You have no option but to get onto customer services where they try to persuade you to stay which I would were I not feeling royally ripped off!
