Having paid pet insurance for 2 dogs for the last 12 years I cancelled my policy after the 2nd dog died. Days later I received 2 letters saying I owed £20 for the period of cover AFTER she had died. When I rang to complain I was told that it wasn't a mistake or joke and that I did actually owe the money. Won't be using them again. Recommend they ring their own pet bereavement helpline and get advice on how to deal with people who have lost their pets in a more sympathetic way.
