Coverage

Policy types available include an Accident only policy offering £3,000 vet fee cover for accidents and injuries for 12 months from the date the injury happened. Tesco offer a Time Limited policy Standard Cover offering £3,000 vet fee cover for accidents and illnesses for 12 months from onset of the illness or injury. They also offer a maximum Benefit policy Extra Cover with a choice of £4,000 or £7,500 vet fee cover per condition that is not time limited. Once the limit is reached that illness or injury is no longer covered.

Their best cover is provided by their Lifetime cover policy, Premier Cover which offers vet fee cover options of £7,500 or £10,000 per year, reinstated annually if you renew your policy with no breaks in cover. Cover includes dental treatment and help to advertise if you lose your pet. 

Excess

Choose from £60, £120 or £200 excess for each illness or accident. Dog Third Party liability claims for damage to property excess is £250.

Age Limits

Cover pets from 8 weeks of age with no maximum age limit.

Waiting Period

4 days from the inception date of the policy.

Would not recommend tesco at all,my dog suffers with anal absesses and they are not going to pay out for her op as she had one two years ago so that is when the condition started but would anyone put their pet through an operation which they might not...
