Kennel Club Pet Insurance offer health insurance for dogs underwritten by Agria Pet Insurance Ltd. They offer Lifetime Pet Health Insurance cover for vet fees of either £25,000, £15,000 per year or £7,500 per year while the policy is active. Policies also cover third party liability, dental illness or injury (not routine check ups or elective treatments), behavioural treatment if referred by your vet, advertising costs if your pet is lost and a contribution to your travel or accommodation costs if your pet is referred to another vet for treatment.

For peace of mind you have free access to The Pet Health Helpline staffed by vet nurses on hand 24 hours a day every day of the year to help you with any concerns you have about your dogs health.   

The Kennel Club can pay your vet direct if your vet agrees. You can add Overseas Travel Cover, Death and Loss Cover, Boarding Fees Cover and Breeding Risks Cover for an extra charge. 97% claims are paid.

Coverage

The Kennel Club offer Lifetime Pet Health Insurance policies for dogs and cats with either £7,500, £15,000 or £25,000 of total cover for vet fees annually. The plan covers any conditions or accidents up to the annual limit each year for as long as the policy is renewed. They pay vets directly, cremation and burial are covered, and they cover Dental treatment needed as a result of illness and injury. There is Breeding cover and there are no restrictions on the vets you use. The policies offer continuous lifetime cover and there are excess options and a £25 vet care voucher . There are no limits on the number of conditions claimed for within a year.

Excess

You have the choice of two levels of excess, which is applied to each condition claim each year for dogs. You pay 10% of vet costs once the excess is deducted.

Age Limits

From 8 weeks. Max age limit depends on species and breed.

Waiting Period

Illness - 10 days when you first buy your policy.
