My dog was taken ill shortly before Christmas and unfortunately had to be put to sleep on 26 Dec 17. Having collected all the necessary documentation from the Vet i faxed this to Agria on 4 Jan 17. On 6 Jan 17 I received an e mail from Agria stating that the full amount (less deductions as per policy) would be paid into my account within 5 working days. No hassle, no questions etc and a note of condolence to round matters off. Phoned to confirm that the policy was cancelled and already done. The instalment in respect of the policy taken out today would be refunded. Can't get a better service that that

It's only when you need to make a claim do you find out if you have good insurance! I couldn't recommend Agria enough, I have changed cover a few times over the last 3 years with them, each time has been hassle free and quick. They are one of the few that offers breeding cover, which is at a very reasonable price in my opinion.
Only last month did we have to make a claim - all I can say is thank goodness for insurance! After a horrendous accident which left one of our Shelties with smashed hips and a badly broken front leg, Agria have paid out £7,300 so far quickly and without fuss. It was such a relief to be able to get her the treatment she needs without worrying if we could afford it. Making the claim was simple and the customer service was excellent, and the proof is in the payout! Definitely highly recommended.
Our dog has been insured with Agria for four years but despite no claims having been made over that period Agria have increased the cost of my policy by 61% in two years. This led me to email the company to discuss the matter but to no avail as they chose to ignore my enquiry. I made several calls to their ironically named Customer Helpline but, again, no member of staff appeared able to answer my calls. Finally, my renewal letter informs me that the new premium is to be removed from my bank without my giving my approval for them to do so. Thankfully, a quick call to my bank will ensure that this does not happen.
Sure you called the 0330 number?! All English call centres, the telephone reps answer my calls within 1 minute and they fully discuss each policy, excess and percentage! Why would you send an email then just wait?! Sounds like your intentions to resolve your rising premiums cannot of been important enough as you didn't try to follow up your initial email. Change company of you aren't happy!
